The Cranston Community Association meets currently on the second Tuesday of every month at Century Hall (11 Cranarch Road SE) in Cranston at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend! Important community issues are discussed and the meetings are usually attended by representatives from our Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA Rick Fraser), City Council (Councillor Shane Keating), Calgary Police Service (Constable Mike Daniels), federal Member of Parliament (MP Tom Kmiec) and the City of Calgary.
In September 2017, the meeting date will likely change to the fourth Tuesday of every month (except for December when it will be on the second Tuesday of the month in order to accommodate the Christmas holiday season).
Want to get involved in your community? Inquire about any open Board positions or come join and see what we are all about. Elections are held at the annual general meeting in April for executive positions that are coming due; however, there are other areas in which your help and volunteerism would be appreciated! Come to a meeting, have your say, and find out how you can volunteer your time in your own community. Contact us to see how you can get involved.
